The Royex product line is manufactured in Europe under strict quality controls and consists of a wide range and types of cartridges, initiation systems and accessories.
Royex is significantly less sensitive to impact than conventional boosters, detonators, detonating fuses and emulsions, which increases safety during handling and site operations. For this reason, the product has been awarded the 0432-1.4S classification by the BAM, which makes Royex significantly easier to store and transport.

Its controlled nature allows demolition operations to be managed more precisely, minimising risks to surrounding structures and ensuring a safer working environment.
The low burning rate of the Royex compound allows precise and targeted control of rock fragmentation. This means that operators can manage the demolition process more precisely, avoiding unwanted damage to surrounding structures or third parties. This feature is particularly important in projects that require special attention to safety and protection of existing infrastructure, such as buildings, bridges or roads

Royex is the ideal option for the demolition of concrete, boulders and large portions of rock. With Royex, projections, dust and noise can be controlled and minimised. Even large rock masses can be crushed without interrupting normal construction site operations or creating disturbance in the vicinity of roads and homes. In addition, adjacent equipment such as crushers, dumpers and drilling equipment can remain in their positions, as the risk of projections can be adequately controlled.

The Royex pyrotechnic mixture is carefully balanced with oxygen, allowing combustion at high temperatures but at slower rates than conventional explosives. Thanks to a slower burn time, the reaction has sufficient time to complete the reduction of fuel and oxygen. The result is a significantly lower generation of NOx (nitrogen oxides) and CO (carbon monoxide) than conventional explosives such as ANFO, NG dynamite and emulsions.

This makes Royex particularly suitable for underground use, allowing multiple demolitions to be carried out in a single shift. In addition, it is ideal in situations where restrictions apply after the use of conventional explosives, such as ventilation times or waiting periods before returning to the site.

The Royex cartridge is classified as 0432-1.4S, which means it can be transported and stored up to a maximum weight of 25 kg (cartridge and powder) without requiring a specific licence. However, for the actual use of the cartridge, a licence for the use of explosives is required, which can be obtained through the competent authority (P2 licence). The Royex product (as with all P2 Nonex, Autostem, Nx burst products) can be shipped both nationally and internationally by various means of transport, such as air, truck or ship. Delivery times vary, but generally the product can be delivered within a few days.
